Joshua Hew is a wedding photographer known for his personable approach and ability to capture timeless, elegant moments. He wanted to refresh his brand identity while retaining the existing icon that clients already associated with him.

The original brand no longer reflected the level of sophistication and luxury Joshua wanted to communicate. He needed a visual and verbal identity that would speak to an audience seeking premium, editorial wedding photography, while still capturing his warm and approachable personality.

The Solution
I crafted a bold, luxurious brand refresh that kept the existing icon intact but elevated every other aspect of the identity. The new palette of gold, warm black and ivory white was chosen to reflect opulence, romance, and tradition. I also restructured and rewrote the website language to be conversational and fun, aligning with Joshua’s character while maintaining a premium feel.
